PURPOSE: A resin sheet molded article, a manufacturing method thereof, and a hot press mold are provided to efficiently manufacture a resin sheet molded article with high releasability by equalizing injection lights. CONSTITUTION: A method for manufacturing a resin sheet molded article is as follows. A thin resin sheet(5) is put into a cavity(12) of a mold(10) which is formed by a resin sheet holding frame(6) receiving a side of thin member pair(3a,3b). The thin resin sheet is fixed in the mold cavity with low pressure and heated. The pressure is raised immediately before the thermally expanded thin resin sheet reaches the softening point of resin in order to compress the thin resin sheet in the mold cavity. An uneven pattern is transferred to the thin resin sheet at the temperature of a rubbery plateau region exceeding a transfer starting temperature and the pressure for restricting burr.
