<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a one-way clutch for allowing the determination of the broken status such as wear of one-way clutch structural components from the incorporated condition, and easy incorporation/dismantlement of a component integrally rotatable relative to a one-way clutch outer ring into/from the one-way clutch, and to provide a method for reusing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The one-way clutch includes the outer ring 3 having cam faces 7 at a plurality of places in the circumferential direction of the inner peripheral face, and arranged on the outer periphery of a shaft, a plurality of engaging elements 4 existing between the cam faces 7 of the outer ring 3 and the shaft, and a cage 6 for holding the plurality of engaging elements 4. The cam faces 7 constitute a wedge face with which the engaging elements 4 engage during one-way rotation of the outer ring 3 relative to the shaft to prohibit the relative rotation of the outer ring 3 and with which the engaging elements 4 are not engaged during other-way relative rotation to permit the rotation. The hardness of each of the outer ring 3 and the engaging element 4 is higher than the hardness of the shaft, and a connection part RK for connecting the outer ring 3 to a torque transmission ring integrally rotatable relative thereto into a mutually fitting condition is provided on the side face of the outer ring 3. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
