<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the breakdown or reliability deterioration in a circuit inside the IC chip by securing the reliability of an IC chip mounted on a contactless IC card, and surely preventing an excessive voltage from being applied to the IC chip inside the contactless IC card and particularly even if a distance between the contactless IC card and a reader/writer gets too short. <P>SOLUTION: The body of the contactless IC card has such a structure that two interconnection substrates 12 and 13 are clamped and stacked between two external sheets. A first antenna coil 15 formed on the interconnection substrate 12 and a second antenna coil 16 formed on the interconnection substrate 13 are opposite in winding direction, and the number of turns of the second antenna coil 16 is larger than the number of turns of the first antenna coil 15. Therefore, when the contactless IC card is brought close to the reader/writer, the voltage applied between two terminals of the IC chip is always smaller than the voltage induced in the second antenna coil 16 of the larger number of turns. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
