PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a radome having a canape structure instead of a sandwich structure, of satisfactory radio wave characteristics, and of further excellent mechanical strength. SOLUTION: A matching layer 5 is formed on a skin layer 4 on a side of an inside of the radome 2. The skin layer 4 is composed of a laminated layer of glass fiber cloth 6 and an impregnated resin 7. A glass fiber mat can be substituted for the laminated layer of the glass fiber cloth 6. Also, a foam material, such as an urethane material having a low dielectric constant, and a core material having a resin impregnation property can be used for the matching layer 5.
