PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gel chlorine dioxide based sterilizing deodorant which is safe, has transpiration stability and is usable at home. SOLUTION: The gel chlorine dioxide based sterilizing deodorant includes a first solution for which the chlorite aqueous solution of an appropriate concentration (for instance, the sodium chlorite aqueous solution of the concentration in the range of 10-16%) is filled in the container of an appropriate capacity and a second mixing part for which the appropriate amount of sodium alginate and solid organic acid (for instance, anhydrous citric acid) which can be added to food, are mixed. The second mixing pat is added to the first solution and they are mixed, agitated and turned to gel which transpires a chlorine dioxide gas. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
