PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a coreless armature wherein a coreless armature consisting of coil substrates arranged in multiple layers in the radial direction is manufactured easily, and the coil substrates arranged in respective layers are made to adhere easily, and also to provide a coreless armature. SOLUTION: One coil board 1 on which many conductive stripes 3 are formed in parallel is wound around cylindrical coil jigs 9a and 9b multiple times in the circumferential direction while sandwiching an insulating sheet 13, and the terminals 5 at the end of the conductive stripes 3 are arranged at the end of the cylinder. Subsequently, the terminals 5 of the conductive stripes 3 provided on the coil board 1 are superimposed in the radial direction as a terminal layer 23, which is then connected electrically.
