PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a side-ditch block facilitating maintenance work while easily coping with addition or replacement of cables. SOLUTION: The side-ditch block 1 combining a function as a side-ditch for drainage with a function as an electric wire utility ditch that can enclose all the cables 4 together, includes a block body 11 opened upward and integrally having right and left sidewall parts 14 and a bottom wall part 15 connecting the lower ends of the sidewall parts 14 to each other, and a drain block 12 detachably fitted into the upper side of an inner void cross section from an upper open part of the block body 11 and having a longitudinally penetrating drain passage 22 in the cross section.
