PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of restoring secret image information with which, even if a mobile phone is lost or stolen, secret image information such as an ID for authentication can be securely utilized. SOLUTION: A method of restoring secret image information includes the steps of: when secret image information transmitted from a service provider side communication apparatus to a user side mobile communication terminal is to be restored by previously given image information for restoration on a transparent film and a secret image is to be visualized, making at least image display unit information of the mobile communication terminal into database for each machine type and storing the database on a service provider side; generating the secret image, the secret image information and the image information for restoration; transmitting personal information including mobile communication terminal specification information and destination information of a mobile communication terminal owner to the communication apparatus; converting the secret image information and the image information for restoration in the form matching an image display unit of the mobile communication terminal, and storing the information after adding the personal information of the mobile communication terminal owner thereto; and creating/sending an image information for restoration printed film beforehand.
