A solenoid valve provided with: a main valve element for opening and closing a flow path; a pilot flow path penetrating through the main valve element in the axial direction; a pilot valve element for opening and closing the pilot flow path; a movable iron core in which a containing hole for containing the main valve element is formed; and a stationary iron core for attracting the movable iron core in the axial direction by the supply of electricity to the coil. The main valve element is contained within the containing hole so as to be movable in the axial direction. The movable iron core is configured in such a manner that, after the pilot valve element is moved to open the pilot flow path, the movable iron core moves the main valve element, which is contained within the containing hole, to open the flow path. |
