Disclosed is a wavelength-tunable laser light source (100) which comprises a laser light source that generates fundamental laser light and a wavelength-tunable element (101) including a periodically polarization-reversed structure that converts the fundamental laser light incident on the structure into laser light with different wavelengths. The wavelength-tunable element has a plurality of polarization reversed regions of which periods differ from each other, and a polarization reversal axis (102) of at least one of the polarization reversed regions is inclined from a light path along which the fundamental laser light is incident on the wavelength-tunable element.
