The invention relates to a prosthesis which includes a femoral component (1) having a cam-profiled element (6) arranged transversely between the two condylar processes (Ic) and (Id), at the free end of the intercondylar notch (Ib), and capable of engaging, in flexing position at an angle of more than around 75º, with a bearing area (4c), profiled in a corresponding manner, which has a contact (4) secured to said base, such as to cause, in a concomitant manner, the anteroposterior movement of the plate (2) relative to the base (3), followed by the limited backward movement of said plate (2) in the maximum flexing position of the femoral component (1) relative to the tibial component (T). |
