INORGANIC PARTICLE AGGREGATE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING GAS DIFFUSION ELECTRODE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing an inorganic particle aggregate excellent in gas diffusion properties and with high catalyst activity.

SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the inorganic particle aggregate includes: a step of preparing first inorganic particles subjected to surface modification by a first organic ligand with a functional group; a step of preparing second inorganic particles subjected to the surface modification by a second organic ligand with a functional group capable of combining with a functional group of the first organic ligand by chemical reaction; a step of mixing the first inorganic particles subjected to the surface modification by the first organic ligand and the second inorganic particles subjected to the surface modification by the second organic ligand; and a step of combining the functional group of the first organic ligand and that of the second organic ligand by chemical reaction.
