<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin-coating type separator and a manufacturing method thereof, with excellent electrical conductivity without increasing the additive amount of a conductive material. <P>SOLUTION: The separator 10 for a fuel cell is provided with a metal base body 11, and a resin layer 12 containing a conductive material 13 and covering the metal base body 11, and has a structure with the conductive material 13 oriented to a nearly vertical direction to a main surface of the metal base body 11. The manufacturing method of the separator 10 includes a process preparing the metal base body 11, a process dispersing the conductive material 13 in resin, a process coating the resin with the conductive material 13 dispersed on the metal base body 11, and a process carrying out heat treatment by applying a perpendicular magnetic field to the main surface of the metal base body 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
