PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust heat recovery method desirably applicable to a heat pump. SOLUTION: The exhaust heat recovery method includes processes of: recovering exhaust heat from a first thermal device (81) using heat from the heat pump (20); recovering exhaust heat from a second thermal device (82) thermally separated from the heat pump (20); storing recovered heat from at least one of the first and second thermal devices (81), (82) temporarily in a first heat storage part (150); and allotting at least one of the exhaust heat from the first thermal device (81), exhaust heat from the second thermal device (82), and the first heat storage part (150), to a heat source of the heat pump (20).
