PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for disinfecting a poultry house or a barn, which simultaneously annihilates coccidium oocyst, other common bacteria and viruses by one disinfection operation. SOLUTION: A mixed formulation of an ortho-dichlorobenzene formulation and a glutaraldehyde formulation is used as a disinfectant so that an oocyst-killing effect is more improved than an ortho-dichlorobenzene formulation alone and common bacteria such as Escherichia coli, and viruses are annihilated by strong germicidal effect of glutaraldehyde. Consequently, since coccidium oocyst, other common bacteria and viruses are simultaneously annihilated by one disinfection operation, a disinfection operation is more efficiently carried out than a conventional one.
