PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone system which can record information relating to a communicating party or telephone call contents as a voice memo by user's own voice and storing it by associating it with telephone book data and history data. SOLUTION: A voice memo control part 10 automatically associates the voice memo recorded in a voice memo recording part 12 during non-communication with respective data stored in a telephone book data storage part 22 or a history data storage part 23 or a telephone call recorded data storage part 24 corresponding to a system state when the recording of the voice memo is started, and stores it in a voice memo storage part 13.
