PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control a free movement of a battery with a low cost so that an electrical connection may not be severed. SOLUTION: A battery holding structure includes a battery frame 5 attached to an electronic equipment body 4 and with which the battery 2 engages. The battery frame 5 includes a connection terminal 7 abutting a terminal part 6 provided to one end 2a of the battery 2. The battery frame 5 also includes a battery pressing member 8 provided in an advanceable and retractable manner with respect to the battery 2 in a position opposite to an other end 2b of the battery 2.
