PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop novel polyamine analogues for various applications. SOLUTION: The present invention provides novel polyamine analogues, compositions comprising these polyamine analogues, and methods of using the analogues and the compositions. In one embodiment, the polyamine analogues are strically configurationally restricted. This invention also relates to use of these analogs or conjugates in various medicinal applications, including suppressing cell proliferation and treating various diseases, including cancer.
