PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a circuit control apparatus from being stopped entirely even when suppliable electric power is reduced due to a fault in a power supply apparatus. SOLUTION: A communication apparatus 1 is composed of including a circuit control apparatus including a power supply device and a plurality of circuit substrates that operates on electric power supplied from the power supply device and assumes any of a plurality of status modes whose amounts of power consumption are different from one another, wherein information about suppliable electric power indicative of electric power that can be supplied to the plurality of circuit substrates and a combination of status modes of each of the circuit substrates are stored in association with each other, information about suppliable electric power indicative of electric power that can be supplied from the power supply device is acquired, and each of the circuit substrates is controlled so that a combination of status modes stored in association with the acquired information about suppliable electric power is achieved.
