PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shock absorbing structure capable of preventing sideways falling of a shock absorbing body, while suppressing an increase of the size of a mobile body. SOLUTION: A sideways falling preventing part 6 for preventing sideways falling of the shock absorbing body 5 when the mobile body is in contact with other objects is constituted of a support part 7 for supporting the shock absorbing body 5 and a connecting part 8 for connecting the support part 7 and the mobile body. The connecting part 8 is constituted to connect the support part 7 and the mobile body via the inside of the shock absorbing body 5, and thereby an installation space of this shock absorbing structure is made smaller by passing of the connecting part 8 through the shock absorbing body 5.
