<p>Provided are a fastening method capable of obtaining a target "resonance frequency" of a vehicle body, during fastening in a conventional mass-produced motor vehicle by means of fastening bolts, by a simple operation of inserting a subframe rigid collar for a motor vehicle without the need for any special process and by a clamping operation at a conventional specified torque, and a subframe rigid collar for a motor vehicle used in the fastening method. Prior to insertion of a fastening bolt (10) into a through-hole (5) of a subframe (4), a threaded portion (11) of the fastening bolt (10) is inserted through a fastening bolt insertion hole (24) of a cylindrical portion (23) constituting a collar body of a subframe rigid collar (20) for a motor vehicle. Thereafter, the fastening bolt (10) is fastened with a specified torque while a distal end of the threaded portion (11) of the fastening bolt (10) is screwed into the threaded hole (2) of a monocoque body (1). Tapered outer circumferential portions (21) and (22) of the subframe rigid collar (20) for a motor vehicle are compressed and fitted into an introduction hole (3) and the through-hole (5), respectively, while the tapered outer circumferential portions (21) and (22) having a diameter larger than the inner diameter of the introduction hole (3) and the through-hole (5) are deformed by plasticity which is a characteristic of the material forming the subframe rigid collar (20) for a motor vehicle. The fastening operation is performed by compressing deforming portions (21b) and (22b) of the tapered outer circumferential portions (21) and (22) between inner circumferential surfaces (3a) and (5a) of the introduction hole (3) and the through-hole (5) and an outer circumferential surface (10a) of the fastening bolt (10).</p> |
