<p>Provided is a communication system whereby a terminal can grasp a switch node, to which the terminal is currently connected, to quickly update a flow table in accordance with the status of the switch node. The communication system comprises: a switch node that operates in accordance with a flow table in which a processing content is defined for each of a plurality of flows; and a flow control apparatus that includes a terminal management unit for recording, based on a flow entry setting request from the switch node, information of association between the terminal of a packet transmission source and the switch node to which the terminal is currently connected. The flow control apparatus refers to the information of association to cause the switch node to execute the change or deletion of the flow entry of the flow table.</p> |
