PURPOSE: A fruit sorting system is provided to improve the efficiency of fruit sorting by preliminarily sorting fruits through visual inspection before weight-based automatic sorting. CONSTITUTION: A fruit sorting system comprises a table(10), first and second tray units(110,150), a conveying unit(20), first and second receiving boxes(40,42), and a control unit. The first tray units are arranged lengthwise on a table to place fruits of a first class sorted through visual inspection. The second tray units are arranged between the first tray units to place fruits of a second class sorted through visual inspection. The fruits of the first and second classes are put in the first and second receiving boxes according to weight. The control unit measures the weights of the fruits in the first and second tray units and places the fruits of the first and second classes in the receiving boxes corresponding to the measured weights. |
