PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable terminal enabling a user to execute a desired processing by performing a simple operation when a predetermined event occurs. SOLUTION: The portable terminal includes a display section capable of displaying various kinds of information and specifying one kind of information based on user's touch operation, and executing a plurality of processings in response to the generation of a predetermined event. In the portable terminal, when an incoming call as an event is detected (YES in step S101), an image including a plurality of options for specifying processing to be executed in response to the incoming call are displayed on the display section (step S103). Then, processing to be executed in the cellular phone is selected on the basis of the option specified by a user's touch operation from among the plurality of options (step S104).
