PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a brake feeling from largely changing even if a pressure reduction quantity varies. SOLUTION: This brake hydraulic pressure controller for a vehicle includes a normally opening type proportional solenoid valve arranged in a hydraulic pressure passage to a wheel brake from the hydraulic pressure source side and adjusting valve closing force by a current-carrying quantity, a normally closing type solenoid valve arranged in the hydraulic pressure passage to a hydraulic pressure source from the wheel brake, and a control means for performing control for switching hydraulic pressure in the wheel brake to a boosting state, a holding state or a pressure reduction state by controlling the current-carrying quantity to the normally opening type proportional solenoid valve and the normally closing type solenoid valve. The control means controls to boost at a first gradient P<SB>G1</SB>up to break point target hydraulic pressure and to boost at a second gradient P<SB>G2</SB>gentler than the first gradient P<SB>G1</SB>up to the boosting finish from the break point target hydraulic pressure when transferring to the boosting state from the pressure reduction state or the holding state, and determines break point target hydraulic pressure P<SB>B</SB>by subtracting predetermined offset pressure P<SB>S</SB>from pressure reduction starting pressure P<SB>R</SB>.
