PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of plotting processing, with respect to an image forming apparatus which allows plotting processing for producing plotted information required to form/output images to be executed while a plurality of processing means are arranged side by side. SOLUTION: A plurality of software plotting parts A-C produce plotted information on the basis of display lists and store the produced information in an intermediate data storage part 230 whether the plotted information is concerned with a figure to be displayed on a band related to the software plotting part. Since the plotted information concerned with the figure to be displayed on the band related to the software plotting part is supplied to a print engine 160, the supplied plotted information is transformed according to a storage area of a page memory 260 and the transformed information is inputted in the page memory 260.
