PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly control charging to a terminal device depending on the type of a charger on which the terminal device is mounted. SOLUTION: When it is detected that a cellular phone 1 is mounted on a charger 2, the cellular phone 1 acquires identification information (charger ID) for identifying the charger, refers to a charging condition storage section storing charging conditions in association with the charger ID, and executes charging control on the basis of the charging conditions associated with the acquired charger ID. For example, when the cellular phone 1 is mounted on a charger 2 at home, it is charged on condition that the battery remaining capacity is <100%. When it is mounted on a charger 2 at a workplace, it is charged on condition that the battery remaining capacity is <80%.
