PURPOSE: An evaporative emission control device for a vehicle and a hybrid vehicle are provided to reduce the exhaust of steam from a fuel tank by employing an adsorptive canister and adsorbents. CONSTITUTION: An evaporative emission control device for a vehicle comprises a fuel tank(18) which stores volatile fuel, an engine(12) which has an air conduction unit, a canister(50) which contains one or more adsorptive materials having an approximately linear isothermal line, a steam inlet(54) which is located on the canister coupled to the fuel tank, a fuzzy exit(70) which is located on the canister coupled to the air conduction unit, a vent which is located on the canister, and a scrubber canister which is coupled to the vent. The adsorptive materials of the canister adsorb fuel vapor flowing in the canister when the engine is not in operation while desorbing fuel vapor to the air flowing in the canister when the engine is in operation. Part of the fuel vapor is delivered through the fuzzy exit to the air conduction unit.
