OPTICAL RECEIVER AND BIAS VOLTAGE CONTROL METHOD OF PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical receiver and a bias voltage control method of a photoelectric conversion circuit capable of favorably correcting the deterioration of a waveform caused by dispersion.

SOLUTION: The optical receiver 1 includes: the photoelectric conversion circuit 5 including an avalanche photodiode (APD) 2; an APD bias circuit 6 for applying a bias voltage to the APD 2; an electronic dispersion compensation circuit 7 for correcting a waveform of an electric signal V1outputted from the photoelectric conversion circuit 5; a peak hold circuit 8 for detecting the amplitude of the electric signal V1; and a controller 10 for controlling the bias voltage outputted by the APD bias circuit 6 on the basis of the output of the peak hold circuit 8.
