<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an electroconductive silicon carbide porous body on which pores of the size suitable for a filter can be formed by a simple process and the specific resistance value of which can be adjusted easily to an optional value within a wide range. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing the electroconductive silicon carbide porous body comprises: a molding step of molding a raw material mixture including a silicon carbide production raw material, which comprises silicon nitride powder and a carbonaceous substance having 10-50 μm average particle size and has 0.5-1.5 molar ratio of silicon to carbon, and 60-95 mass% silicon carbide powder as aggregate; and a firing step of firing a molding, which is obtained at the molding step, only once at 2,000-2,350°C in a non-oxidizing gas atmosphere of 5-100 vol.% nitrogen gas concentration. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
