PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connected water supply pipe system which improves the space efficiency in a building. SOLUTION: A water discharge hose 19 with a water discharge nozzle 20 and a water discharge valve 12 with which the water discharge hose 19 is connected are housed in a cage 3 of an elevator 2 which is installed in the building 1. A water pipe 13 which connects a water receiving part 11 opened to the outside of the building 1 and the water discharge valve 12 is arranged in the building 1. When a fire breaks out, the water discharge valve 12 and the water discharge hose 19 are moved with the cage 3 to the floor of the building 1 where the fire occurs and fire fighting is made by discharging fire extinguishing water supplied from the water receiving part 11 from the water discharge hose 19. In this way, it is no longer necessary to arrange the water discharge hose 19 and the water discharge valve 20 on each of the floors of the building 1 and the space efficiency of the building 1 is improved.
