PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector with a joint function, wherein some poles can be used as a normal male/female type connector, and the remaining poles can be used as a joint connector. SOLUTION: This connector with the joint function includes a connector housing 10 having a plurality of terminal housing chambers 15, a female terminal 20 housed in each terminal housing chamber, and a front mask 30. The front mask is detachably mounted to the front end of the connector housing to demarcate the front end of each terminal housing chamber in a corresponding region while forming an abutting surface abutting on the front end surface of a counter-connector, and has a terminal introducing hole 35 to guide the tip of the terminal of the counter-connector toward the connecting terminal housed in each terminal housing chamber at a position corresponding to each terminal housing chamber in a part of the region while integrally having a bus bar 40 to short-circuit the connecting terminals 20 inserted in each terminal housing chamber in the other region at a position corresponding to each terminal housing chamber in the other region.
