PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire excellent in wear resistance, reducing rolling resistance, and securing the durability of side parts appearance. SOLUTION: The pneumatic tire is provided by arranging a belt having an inclined belt layer and a tread in order outside in the tire radial direction of a crown part of a carcass with the carcass straddling in a toroidal shape between a pair of bead parts as a skeleton, and a ratio BD/BW of a diameter difference BD of the center part in the tire width direction and end parts in the tire width direction of an outermost layer of the inclined belt layer with respect to a width BW of the outermost layer of the inclined belt layer in a cross section in the tire width direction in a state of mounting the tire on an application rim is 0.01 or above and 0.04 or below. The shortest distance CSEh between the tip of a folded part of a carcass ply of at least one layer and a line segment drawn at a toe of a bead in parallel with the rotational axis of the tire is larger than the shortest distance SWh between a line segment drawn at a maximum width position of the tire in parallel with the rotational axis of the tire and the line segment drawn at the toe of the bead in parallel with the rotational axis of the tire.
