PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a wooden house which can inhibit dew formation and moisture in the house and generation of mold and ticks, and can keep a comfortable temperature and humidity environment in the house by efficiently diffusing the moisture and outside air, and to provide a furring strip material used for the wooden house. SOLUTION: In the wooden house where a wind protection layer 5 is attached to the outer surface of a wooden house frame, the furring strip materials 1 are attached to the outer surface of the wind protection layer 5 at predetermined intervals, and an exterior wall material 6 is attached to the outer surface of the furring strip material 1, ventilation recesses 2, each of which is installed so that openings 8, 9 are exposed on both side surface and extend radially from the ground toward the ceiling, are formed on the outer surface of the furring strip material 1 abutted on the exterior wall material 6 or on the back surface thereof abutted on the wind protection layer 5.
