PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manual type elevating gate 2 simple in structure and requiring no electric power. SOLUTION: This manual type elevating gate 2 includes a main pole 4, a sub-pole 6 and a linear body 8. The linear body 8 is stretched between the main pole 4 and the sub-pole 6. One end of the linear body 8 is fixed to the lower part of the main pole 4. The other end of the linear body 8 is fixed to the upper part of the sub-pole 6. The main pole 4 includes a first slider 22 and a handle 26. The sub-pole 6 includes a second slider 82. The second slider 82 pushes down the linear body 8 by its dead load. The first slider is moved upward or downward by the normal rotation or reverse rotation of the handle 26. With this movement, the second slider 82 moves upward or downward.
