PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sublimatic printer and a printing system capable of performing order sorting without improving hardware or using more paper than paper used for image output. SOLUTION: The printing system includes an ink ribbon 200 having ink applying parts 4 which are color material regions transferred to photographic printing roll paper 100 serving as photographic printing paper, and black marks 3 for identifying the positions of the ink applying parts 4; and the printer for printing images on the photographic printing roll paper 100 using the ink ribbon 200. The printer includes a means for recognizing the black marks 3, and a means for printing image order information 30 using the recognized black marks 3 on paper pieces 2 which are margin regions adjoining image regions 1 printed with images on the photographic printing roll paper 100.
