摘要 Provided is a method for fixing the orthogonal angles of rollers vertically overlying at orthogonal angles in a seismic isolation system having a supporting mechanism.  In order to solve a problem that a structure shakes when a damping force of the damping mechanism exceeds the seismic energy, also provided is a damping mechanism having a damping force control suppressing function which matches a seismic energy.  In order to keep the orthogonal angles of the rollers, constriction members are given a small clearance for allowing the rollers to roll, and are mounted on the orthogonal portions of the rollers to thereby fix the orthogonal angles.  The damping forces are generated by energy absorption at the time when linear steel members are wound on cylindrical members and continuously deformed by horizontal forces.  The quantity of energy absorption is controlled by changing the axial sectional areas of the linear steel members.  Moreover, the horizontal forces are interrupted to release the energy absorption to thereby suppress the energy absorption of the linear steel members within the amplitude area of a small earthquake so that the attenuating forces can be controlled and suppressed by the damper-type damping mechanism.
