<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fat accumulation suppressor comprising a whey protein hydrolyzate excellent in fat accumulation suppressing effect. <P>SOLUTION: The fat accumulation suppressor is obtained using the whey protein hydrolyzate having a molecular weight distribution of 10 kDa or less wherein the main peak appears within a range from 200 Da to 3 kDa, an APL (average peptide length) of 2-8, a free amino acid content of ≤20% and a branched amino acid content of ≥20%, respectively, both relative to the total amount of all components, and an antigenicity corresponding to ≤1/100,000 of the antigenicity of β-lactoglobulin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
