PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide portable radio equipment excellent in portability, capable of being miniaturized and communicating without degradation in communication performance. SOLUTION: The portable radio equipment 1 has a master unit 10 and a slave unit 20 which are configured mutually attachably and detachably. The portable radio equipment 1 also includes: a position regulation section 31 which regulates the position and the direction of the slave unit 20 when the slave unit 20 is mounted on the master unit 10; a first ground section 11a which, at a top of a first circuit board 11, is arranged in a chassis of the master unit 10; and an antenna section 22 which is arranged in the slave unit 20. Further, a distance D1 between the first ground section 11a and the antenna section 22 when the position and the direction of the slave unit 20 are regulated by the position regulation section 31 is longer than a distance between the first ground section 11a and a central position O of a chassis of the slave unit 20 in Z direction.
