PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a key input device low in power consumption and low in cost. SOLUTION: The key input device includes signal lines 21a to 21e, a common signal line 22 and keys k1 to k10. Each key has a movable contact point and first to third fixed contact points. Third fixed contact points of the keys k1 to k4 are connected in common by the signal line 21a. The first fixed contact point of the key k1 and the third fixed contact points of the keys k5 to k7 are connected in common by the signal line 21b. The first fixed contact points of the keys k2, k5 and the third fixed contact points of the keys k8, k9 are connected in common by the signal line 21c. The first fixed contact points of the keys k3, k6, k8 and the third fixed contact points of the key k10 are connected in common by the signal line 21d. The first fixed contact points of the keys k4, k7, k9, k10 are connected in common by the signal line 21e.
