The device has a base support (14) connected with a base carrier of a load lifting vehicle. A swivel unit (28) is pivotally supported at the base support for detachably accommodating an attachment part e.g. bucket (44), container and lifting fork, where pivot movement of the swivel unit is taken place by hydraulic cylinders (50A, 50B) that are hinged to the base support at its one side and to the swivel unit at its another side. The swivel unit has a horizontally aligned fixing rod that is formed as a thrust bearing for hooks (46A, 46B) of the attachment part.
