PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an original reading apparatus for allowing an image reading apparatus prepared at an automatic document feeder side to read small size hard originals such as a name card and a membership card without any troubles, even the design is easy and the configuration has a high degree of freedom, and to provide an image forming apparatus with the original reading apparatus.
