PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coaxial connector equipped with a floating mechanism requiring only a small number of components. SOLUTION: The coaxial connector includes: a floating mechanism which comprises a fixed portion 1 extending in an axial direction; and a movable portion 2 connected electrically in a movable state in diameter direction to one end part in an axial direction of the fixed portion. An elastic member 12 which acts elastically in an axial direction is interposed between an inner conductor 13 and an outer conductor 11 of the movable portion. By this elastic member, the inner conductor and the outer conductor of the movable portion are brought into pressure contact with an inner conductor 7 and an outer conductor 5 of the fixed portion respectively axially in a mutually opposite direction.
