PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rocking switch capable of aiming at thinning of a dimension in a thickness direction (in a rocking axis direction of an operation knob). SOLUTION: The rocking switch is provided with a first and a second cases 10, 40, an operation knob 60, a sliding member 100 connected with the operation knob 60 through a movement direction changing connection part, which changes a rocking movement of the operation knob 60 into a linear movement, two pairs each constituted of a fixed contactor 130 and a movable contactor supporting body 150, respectively arranged serially on the bottom face of the first case 10, a pair of movable contactor bodies 170 each having a movable contact 181 and being pivotally supported on each of the movable contactor supporting body 150 while contacting it, and a pair of operation bodies 210 which each rock with a rocking axis 223 as a center and of which the contact parts (a) at tip ends each move on the surface of each of the movable contactor bodies 170 while contacting so that the movable contactor bodies 170 are operated for rocking. Both the operation bodies 210 are driven simultaneously in the same direction by the sliding member 100.
