PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for an internal combustion engine capable of solving problems caused by combustion by improving convergency to a target value and improving responsiveness and stability of control in feedback control of fuel injection and ignition timing based upon combustion information. SOLUTION: In a first cylinder instruction injection quantity operating part (52a) of a fuel injection quantity operation part (52), an instruction injection quantity Inj_Act#1 is calculated by carrying out PID control of a value of multiplying a difference between the target value CB_Set(n) of combustion information calculated by a target value operation part (50) and an actual value CB_Act#1(n-4) of combustion information in previous combustion based upon a cylinder internal pressure of a first cylinder #1 being an object cylinder by a correction coefficient A reflecting combustion information of other cylinders different from the object cylinder calculated in a correction coefficient operation part (56).
