A method and a device for processing a dynamic System Information Block (SIB) are disclosed. The method includes: after a User Equipment (UE) receives the dynamic SIB (S102), if no dynamic SIB is locally stored, the UE then stores the dynamic SIB locally and enables the validity timer of the dynamic SIB (S104); if a dynamic SIB which is identical to the received dynamic SIB is locally stored, the UE then deletes the locally stored dynamic SIB, disables the validity timer of the original dynamic SIB locally stored (S106), and stores the received dynamic SIB locally and enables the validity timer of the received dynamic SIB after locally stored (S108). The power consumption of the UE is reduced by the solution. |
