摘要 The invention relates to a method for determining the maximum obtainable power of a traction battery system, comprising a plurality of battery elements connected in series. The method comprises: detecting at least one power indicator for each battery element and determining a quantity of the least power indicators of all detected power indicators of all battery elements. The quantity comprises the least power indicator or a subgroup of the least power indicators of all power indicators of the battery element. A power discharge limit for the quantity is provided based on the power indicators of the quantity. The maximum obtainable power of the traction battery system is extrapolated based on the power discharge limit, wherein the maximum obtainable power of the traction battery system is linked by means of the extrapolation, and due to the series circuit, to a power discharge of the at least one battery element for which the quantity of the least power indicators was determined. The power discharge is below the power discharge limit by a predefined amount. The maximum obtainable power is ultimately output in the form of a value. The invention further relates to a device for performing the method.
