METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR RECOVERY OF CO2 GAS IN CEMENT-MANUFACTURING FACILITIES, AND PROCESSES FOR MANUFACTURING CEMENT

<p>Provided are methods for separating and recovering, in a high concentration, CO2 gas generated in cement-manufacturing facilities. One of the methods comprises: feeding both an uncalcined raw material for cement and a heating medium which has a particle diameter larger than that of the raw material and which has been heated to the calcination temperature or above in a medium-heating furnace (14) to a mixing/calcining furnace (12); and recovering CO2 gas generated by calcination of the raw material, with the heating medium being circulated between the medium-heating furnace (14) and the mixing/calcining furnace (12). Another of the methods comprises: feeding an uncalcined raw material for cement to a regenerative calcining furnace (112) which has been heated to the calcination temperature or above and has been stored with heat; and recovering CO2 gas generated by calcination of the raw material.</p>
