PURPOSE: A hinge unit of a container lid is provided to prevent the damage to the lid or the container by decreasing the rotating speed of the lid by frictional force in a process that the lid rotates. CONSTITUTION: A hinge unit of a container lid comprises a housing(100) and a rotating shaft(200). The housing is installed on one of the container and the lid. An insertion hole is formed on one side of the housing. The rotating shaft is installed on the other side of the housing. A frictional unit is formed between the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole. The frictional unit comprises a frictional member(210) and a frictional section. The frictional member is formed on one of the outer circumferential surface of the rotating shaft and the inner circumferential surface of the insertion hole.
