PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To freely perform various operations using a remote controller on each of two screens in a double-screen display mode.

SOLUTION: A multiscreen display device 100 for displaying a plurality of screens includes a remote controller reception processing unit 110 which has: a first remote controller reception processing module 111; and a second remote controller reception processing module 112. The modules 111, 112 are provided correspondingly to the plurality of screens for receiving operating signals from a remote controller 200. The remote controller reception processing unit 110 generates operation information from an operating signal received by a receiving section corresponding to the screen toward which the remote controller is directed.
